Challenge
Creative Hire was entrusted by Leader Associates to build the
co-located Australia Wind Energy (AuWE2025), Connecting
Hydrogen APAC 2025 (CHA2025) and Carbon Capture APAC
2025 (CCA25) exhibitions at the Melbourne Convention and
Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
As the leading wind energy event in the APAC region, the trio of
shows featured over 120 exhibitors and attracted more than
8,000 attendees over 40 countries. It was crucial for the event to
maintain the highest standards of design and execution while
showcasing innovations across the entire wind energy value
chain, from onshore and offshore wind technology to grid
integration and engineering services.
The challenge was to seamlessly delivered a customised, full-
scale exhibition build that enabled meaningful interactions and
highlighted the latest industry innovations. The exhibition floor
functioned as a dynamic hub for product demonstrations,
solution discovery, and the exploration of new partnerships.

Solution
Creative Hire’s extensive experience in delivering large-scale events at leading national venues was instrumental in meeting the complex requirements of the Australia Wind Energy (AuWE2025), Connecting Hydrogen APAC 2025 (CHA2025) and Carbon Capture APAC 2025 (CCA25) exhibitions. The team collaborated closely with the event organiser, Leader Associates, as well as exhibitors and attendees, carefully listening to their needs before shaping the design and execution strategy.
The event brought together stakeholders from across the entire wind energy value chain, fostering collaboration at local, national, and international levels to accelerate Australia’s clean energy transition. As the industry’s first climate partner-certified frame system, beMatrix supports sustainability through its reusable components while also offering exceptional design flexibility.
This allowed for the customisation of many stand’s to reflect the unique branding and functional requirements of every exhibitor. Each upgraded stand was developed in close consultation with individual clients to ensure alignment with their budget, exhibition goals, and brand identity, resulting in a wide range of sizes and configurations.
A key factor in the event’s success was Creative Hire’s ability to deliver 120+ exhibition stands, including 14 upgraded stands, primarily constructed using the beMatrix system. Beyond the stands, Creative Hire enhanced the concourse with bold signage, a striking entry arch, 3D photo feature, and floor decals—creating an engaging, cohesive arrival experience that guided attendees to the conference
and exhibition precincts.
New for this year, the floor plan introduced 1×1 meeting rooms, providing a private, professional setting for more focused, confidential conversations between attendees and exhibitors. Additionally, two new Focus Sections were designed to actively engage delegates, gathering feedback on what they would like to see at future events and fostering deeper insights into client relationships and expectations.
Result
Australia Wind Energy (AuWE2025), Connecting Hydrogen APAC 2025 (CHA2025) and Carbon Capture APAC 2025 (CCA25) event was delivered successfully by Creative Hire and created a platform for connection, innovation, and growth across the full value chain.
With over 8,000 energy leaders, developers, OEMs, investors, and suppliers in attendance, the event brought together a dynamic ecosystem of industry professionals.
Attendees explored a vibrant exhibition floor featuring 120+ exhibitors, including international pavilions from Europe and Asia. Purpose-built feature areas such as the dedicated Matchmaking Area enabled structured B2B meetings, ensuring high-value engagement with key decision-makers.
