The Challenge
Creative Hire partnered with Leader Associates to bring the co-located Australia Wind Energy 2026 (AuWE2026), SAF APAC Summit 2026 and Carbon Capture APAC Summit 2026 to life at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
The brief centred on creating an engaging event environment that supported education, networking and business development across multiple exhibition and conference spaces. Every touchpoint, from registration through to feature areas and exhibitor stands needed to deliver a seamless, premium experience while reflecting the innovation driving Australia’s clean energy sector.
With thousands of delegates, exhibitors and industry leaders moving through the venue over two days, every element needed to work together to encourage exploration, simplify navigation and create opportunities for meaningful connection.

The Solution
Creative Hire delivered an end-to-end exhibition environment, transforming multiple spaces throughout the MCEC into a cohesive destination for delegates, exhibitors and speakers.
The project began with the creation of a welcoming arrival experience, featuring custom registration counters, digital kiosks, directional signage, and a large-format entry statement that immediately immersed attendees in the event. Throughout the venue, branded feature areas including delegate lounges, media spaces, networking zones, conference stages and interactive selfie moments designed to encourage engagement while supporting the flow of visitors across the exhibition.
Alongside the event infrastructure, Creative Hire designed and constructed a collection of exhibition stands using the versatile and sustainable beMatrix system. Working closely with individual exhibitors, each space was tailored to showcase products, facilitate conversations and strengthen brand presence, while maintaining a cohesive look and feel across the exhibition floor.
Feature builds for exhibitors including XCMG, All Areas Access Group and CSL Offshore Logistics demonstrated Creative Hire’s ability to deliver customised solutions that balanced functionality with strong visual impact.
The Result
Australia Wind Energy 2026 successfully brought together the renewable energy industry for two days of collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation.
Creative Hire’s integrated approach ensured every stage of the attendee journey – from arrival and registration through to conference sessions, networking spaces and exhibition stands – felt intuitive, engaging and professionally executed.
The completed build created an environment where exhibitors could showcase their latest technologies, delegates could form valuable industry connections, and organisers could deliver a polished event experience that reflected the continued growth and evolution of Australia’s clean energy sector.
