The future of customer experience at G-Summit
Challenge
Creative Hire was engaged by Professional Conference Organiser (PCO) Conference Works, to deliver G-Summit ANZ, the local arm of a global customer experience conference produced by Genesys. The global software company, based in the United States, sells customer experience and call centre technology to medium to large businesses, via predominantly cloud-based software.
Due to the temporary in-person event hiatus over the past few years and the core nature of the business heavily weighing on the importance of a polished customer experience, the stakes were high for Creative Hire to assist in providing a considered and engaging event for attendees.
Both local and international tech software companies would make up the range of sponsors for which Creative Hire was tasked with providing a flawless solution. The requirement was for each stand or booth to include a meeting area, signage, and audio visual to showcase the numerous product offerings.

Solution
Creative Hire responded to the brief with a variety of engaging event solutions. The Hilton Ballroom pillars ran through the middle of the space with the team opting to wrap the columns in custom event branding. This addition transformed the area along with engaging messaging printed on Texwalk (a low-adhesive removable vinyl), that was displayed on each face of the pillars, ensuring the orchestration of a highly personalized customer experience.
Additional custom features included 2 large free-standing foam logos in “Genesys Orange” that stood 3.5m from the ground in the main plenary. Their sheer size and positioning within the space recognised Genesys as an authority in their field and was an impressive focal point for keynote presentations.
Genesys also had plenty of scope to extend its expertise within the Innovation Demo Lab. The 6×3 stand included raised flooring and a beautifully presented 6m wide full colour graphic backdrop along with 2 wall-mounted 55-inch displays.

For the sponsor booths, the latest range of modern ‘Eclipse’ panels were paired with the option of seamless digital printed fabric signage. This provided the opportunity for exhibitors to have a large and clean canvas available to showcase their products and services. Drawing on classic layout and design principles, this allowed delegates to focus on content, as the consistent overall look tied the exhibition together flawlessly. The Creative Hire approach to layout and floor plan design complemented the event synergies between the ease of use of the layout and the customer experience software that Genesys deliver.
Big-name brands such as Telstra, and Mindful, held prime floor plan positions with premium stand features such as raised flooring, freestanding screens and a meeting area on their 4x3m footprint. The new Eclipse walling system saw an additional 22 sponsor booths fitted out with similar features on a smaller scale.
Result
Creative Hire met the challenge of providing Conference Works for Genesys with a tailored and unique solution for G-Summit. The team focused on maximizing the value of the end clients’ products as well as meeting the need to provide a seamless and memorable customer experience for delegates.
The location in the Hilton Ballroom assisted the execution, using signage on the pillars as an additional feature within the space. Genesys had further scope to engage its audience within the featured Innovation Demo Lab and position itself as a market leader by employing their large and striking foam constructed logos positioned beside the stage.
A gathering of leading customer experience organisations, the presentation and detail in the event was a key measurement of success, in which the Creative Hire team excelled.
