Challenge
Creative Hire was proudly recognised by Pet Projects International as the partner to build the amazing attractions at this year’s Dog Lovers Festival. The Dog Lovers Festival proudly hosts one of the largest doggy supermarket and showcase in Australia.
The challenge was therefore to capture the energy, fun, and emotional connection of the festival in a condensed schedule, while still leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
Although the Dog Lovers Festival spans two different states across Sydney and Melbourne, the goal was to create immersive, memorable experiences that packed maximum engagement into just two days per venue.

Solution
Creative Hire designed the venue with time constraints in mind, ensuring that every visitor could experience the key attractions during the two-day Dog Lovers Festival. The layout was carefully planned to offer variety across entertainment, education, and product showcases, without overwhelming attendees.
The VitaPet Arena was a major highlight, purpose-built to host some of the world’s most talented dogs, showcasing incredible speed, agility, and skills across all breeds.
In total, Creative Hire created 12 separate attraction areas, including interactive experiences such as Pat-A- Pooch (hands-on pup cuddling), adoption zones AND breed showcases!
Every element was designed to maximise visitor engagement, ensuring that each interaction felt special and impactful, even within the fast-paced, crowded atmosphere of the Dome at Sydney Showgrounds.
Result
Creative Hire also customised and created The Advanced Stage which allowed tens of thousands of visitors to see the bond humans can create with their very own fury friends. We loved seeing the entertaining performances, watching the inspiring stories and celebrating the many ways dogs bring joy to our lives!
