Imagination partnered with Creative Hire to orchestrate the highly anticipated AWS Summit at the ICC Sydney. As the annual flagship for AWS, this free event invites the global cloud computing community across more than 30 countries to connect, collaborate and educate. With over 4000 delegates from all industries and skill levels, the objective of the summit was to demonstrate how AWS can assist in implementing flexible and reliable cloud and technology solutions at scale.
Imagination’s creative prowess and event production expertise laid the foundation for a collaborative effort with Creative Hire, with the shared goal of taking the summit to new heights. Understanding the significance of event equipment and project management, Imagination teamed up with Creative Hire, a trusted partner known for their exceptional support in delivering top-tier resources for successful event execution.
In 2023, the event marked a triumphant return to pre-COVID times, captivating a huge in-person audience. A significant challenge arose in accommodating an increased number of delegates within a condensed one-day format, unlike the previous two-day structure. Creative Hire made flawless delivery a top priority across all aspects of the Summit, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for attendees, sponsors, and partners alike.

Creative Hire translated Imagination’s simple yet impactful design into reality, beautifully showcasing it across 48 sponsor booths, encompassing silver, gold, and platinum configurations. Vibrant colours and innovative forms celebrated the essence of the brand, prioritising content accessibility and maximising sponsorship opportunities for in-person networking. The result was a multi-faceted experience that left a lasting impact.
Imagination’s design expertise was brought to life as Creative Hire skillfully constructed sponsor booths that balanced cost-effectiveness with design integrity, resulting in the seamless integration of branded elements throughout the entire event.
With over 1000 hours collectively dedicated to the bump-in and bump-out phases, Creative Hire’s strong project management abilities shone through. A commitment to quality control, attention to detail and effective communication resulted in a seamless experience that enhanced delegate exploration and fostered engaging interactions within sponsor booths.
Additionally, Creative Hire’s production of over 560 square metres of premium graphics for the Summit played a vital role in amplifying brand experiences. The added flexibility of sponsors being able to customise their stands in thoughtful ways was a great opportunity to foster impactful connections and leave a lasting impression.
