Imagination for AWS Sydney Summit 2026
The Challenge
Creative Hire once again partnered with Imagination to deliver a large-scale sponsor and feature build for AWS (Amazon Web Services) Summit Sydney 2026 at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney). Returning for a fourth consecutive year, the 2026 event introduced a series of customised feature zones designed to elevate attendee engagement and create a more immersive exhibition experience across the event floor.
With multiple custom fabrication elements and a fast-paced installation schedule, the challenge was to deliver a cohesive, premium finish across all activation spaces within the venue.
The delivery was completed under strict venue guidelines, demonstrating Creative Hire’s capability to execute complex, multi-zone environments at scale while maintaining precision, compliance and premium finish standards across every element of the build.

The Solution
The brief included the delivery of the 5 feature area zones alongside multiple bespoke sponsor activations, each with its own unique functional and creative requirements.
The AI League area featured raised LED flooring with integrated staging elements, graphic plinths, tiered shelving and reception counters, creating a high-energy, immersive environment. The Developer Zone showcased the standout KIRO block installation, incorporating mesh detailing, integrated LED lighting and built-in counters, designed as a highly interactive and photogenic focal point.
The Startup Zone introduced a fully custom-built pipe wall structure, delivering a bold architectural moment, while the Partner Zone and T&Cs area combined modular builds with black frame shelving, pods, counters and controlled graphic applications to maintain consistency across sponsor tiers.
Alongside these feature spaces, Builders Labs was delivered using a sustainable pony wall system to maintain openness while supporting clear spatial definition. Across all zones, careful attention was given to material consistency and flow between activations to ensure a cohesive visitor journey throughout the exhibition floor.

The AWS Summit Sydney 2026 sponsor and feature build was delivered successfully, creating a highly engaging and visually cohesive exhibition environment that supported meaningful interaction between sponsors and attendees.
The seamless execution of multiple complex activations — from large-scale feature areas such as AI Leagueand the Developer Zone through to bespoke sponsor stands and supporting zones — ensured a consistentand premium visitor experience throughout the 2-day event at the ICC Sydney.
