Exhibition Designer

We are looking for an industrial designer with industry experience in design and manufacturing. We are looking for someone who is comfortable in design and detailing and fast-paced creative design work.
Candidates for this role must be willing to undertake accredited training (at our cost).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Produce highly detailed build-ready 3D models of display elements
- Produce design drawings for production and manufacture
- Produce DXFs or NC files
- Work on design projects under the direction of the Design Manager and Senior Designers
- Assist in producing design presentations with renders and elevations of design concepts
- Attend internal project meetings for job status and progress
- Working with other departments to solve problems and come up with the best solutions for our clients
- Research and Development into new materials and construction methods
Competencies & Experience Required:
- Knowledge of Solidworks and related 3D CAD softwares
- Knowledge of rendering and visualisation softwares (Photoview, 3DSMAX)
- Knowledge Swood Design and CAM softwares preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, DXF creation, nesting and CNC programming
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Good communication and decision-making skills
- Not afraid to ask questions about the project or suggest better ways of doing things
- Able to work autonomously and use initiative
- Able to work in a team and office environment with project deadlines
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor in Design and or Architecture
To be eligible for this position you must have:
- Australian citizenship or Permanent residency
